Teenagers, still concerned about exams and Hogsmeade dates, are being forced to grow up fast - soon, they'll have to choose sides with the fate of both the wizarding and muggle worlds resting in their hands.

Experience: About 10 years in forum rp. Rather new to Tumblr rping, but I’m starting to get it down really well. 
Activity Level: Almost always on every night for a couple of hours. 

What attracted you to this group/the character you chose?: Ever since I read Prisoner of Azkaban when I was about 11 or 12, I’ve always had this fascination with the Marauders Era. JK had given us just the right amount of information to get a feel for most characters, but still left somethings to the imagination. It originally Remus that I had fallen for most out of the Marauders, but last fall, a friend convinced me to play James for her Sirius on a forum, and as I began to read about James and play him, he began to pop out of the group as my favorite. His reckless tendencies with the Marauders, his bravery, his intelligence, and, of course, the “boy gets girl in the end” love story. I’ve played James twice before, though both places I’ve played him have died. I’d love to get to play him again. 


Character bio (based off of what was already given to you): James Potter comes from a line of Purebloods dating back further than he’d rather spend the time to trace. His parents, both elderly in even wizarding standards, had James late in their lives after they had spent most of their lives working to make sure their future son or daughter would live a happy, comfortable life. As an only child, it was James who received plenty of attention from his parents. They were proud of their only son, often showing him with gifts and love. Some could argue that this is where his arrogant nature comes from. When James was eleven, he received the letter from Hogwarts and his first train ride changed his life forever. It was there that he met Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew: the other part of what became known as the Marauders. With them, he’s created the Marauders Map, became an unregistered animagus along with Sirius and Peter to assist Remus in his werewolf transformations, wrecked havoc on the life of Severus Snape (“The ugly git deserves everything he gets.”), and caused all sorts of shenanigans and pranks among the castle as well. Currently, James has been still stalking chasing after Lily Evans, a fellow Gryffindor that happens to have been the spot in James’ eye for a couple of years now. He feels that this year, he’ll finally win her over.
